VC / LP Art Gallery & Fundraiser recap

As well as an exclusive invite to my November Gallery👀📮

After a successful second edition of my private VC / LP art gallery series, I’m excited to share a few updates. We’ve officially grown the community to over 150+ Chicago based VC’s, Family Offices, LP’s & active angel investors bringing in folks from NYC & beyond.

The mission has been clear, connect venture capitalists with institutional investors allowing them to close capital & invest in amazing local founders. Because what many forget to realize is that venture is extreme entrepreneurship. Raising capital on not just one idea like a founder, solving one problem.. but on a portfolio of ideas they may have yet to even find. Needless to say they deserve community too, so I decided to solve it.

Pairing the new connections & capital convo’s with not only local Chicago contemporary art, but also wine & gourmet bites prepared by my favorite personal chef & friend.

Now officially one month away from my last Chicago VC / LP gallery of the year, hosted at my favorite local gallery currently exhibiting an international Mexican born artist I’ve decided to shake things up… Opening our doors for the first time to FIVE founders actively fundraising. Must be generating revenue or be actively raising with capital already committed. As always it’s thoughtfully curated for impact not volume.

What’s new: I’ve been raising too!🐎💰

Like many of you I’ve been appalled by what’s happening in our city, watching as masked unidentified thugs kidnap women & children is simply unacceptable… In less than a week we’ve successfully raised thousands for four local organizations currently volunteering time, gas & putting themselves on the line to support our community. As we close out Hispanic Heritage Month donations are still welcome here until end of day.

We were joined by elected officials, family & friends & a band on a beautiful day celebrating what it means to not stand down or be in fear. Located at a latino owned private horse track we enjoyed tacos prepare by Illinois Comptroller Susanna Mendoza who prepared every taco with love, also joining us was Nellys Cafe a Chicago based Latino owned cafe whose gourmet horchata’s are worth checking out!

100% of the proceeds benefit: Increase the Peace, PASO, Latino Union of Chicago & Street Vendor Relief fund. These orgs have quickly mobilized rapid response teams who are on the frontlines preventing & documenting these human rights violations.

So if you can, please donate here or consider donating directly!

See you soon?
